Game Designer

Ik ben Joris Dingelstad. Als designer focus ik mij vooral op video games, maar met het Mixed Reality project waar ik afgelopen half jaar aan het gewerkt heb ik mij ook veel met theater bezig gehouden.

    Mijn interesses liggen vooral bij het ontwerpen en maken van nieuwe interacties. Als een systeem of interactie niets vernieuwends bied dan vraag ik mij vaak af waar de designer's creativiteit in een project naartoe is gegaan. Dat is in essentie de kern van mijn process: Creativiteit.

My name is Joris Dingelstad. As a designer my main focus and love lies with video games, however with the  Mixed Reality project that I've worked on for the past half year, I have had to work a lot with theater principles as well.

    My main interests as a designer are designing and making new interactions. If a system or interaction doesn't provide any attempt at innovation then I often wonder where the designer's creativity went within a project. That is the essence of my design process: Creativity.
