What?

For Project Vrij III, I created a proof-of-concept for a surrealistic VR game called SuBmerged.

In this presentation I will take you on the journey of the creation of SuBmerged during the past five months. Additionally, I will talk about my future plans for SuBmerged during Graduation.

But... why?

Don't we all, from time to time, just need to escape this reality and dive into another world, that is full of fantasy and wonder? Apart from experiencing other realms through books, movies and games, I love to dive into my own realms of thought. From there, I like to create quirky and weird universes that reflect on our reality through symbolism and mystery. Especially in these confusing corona times, I felt like creating an experience that is far away from everything we face in our daily lives right now.
